The following specific functions are carried out:

- preparation of appeals, calculations relating to salary transactions or pay differentials
- assistance and drafting of minutes of settlements with trade unions
- assistance and drafting of minutes of settlements before Provincial Departments of Labour, or Labour Tribunals
- authentic interpretation of contract clauses in collective bargaining
- managing conciliation procedures with labour organisations
